Avenleigh Barrel Co acts as a distributor of physical whisky casks. We do not provide financial, legal or tax advice, assess suitability, or guarantee value growth, resale, liquidity, price or timing.

Purchases of physical whisky casks are generally outside FCA regulation and do not carry protection from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Whisky casks are not traded on a regulated exchange. There is no official published price list for casks by distillery and age, and there is no established mechanism that guarantees a sale. Market value is subjective and can rise, remain unchanged or fall.

Casks lose liquid through evaporation and may lose alcohol strength over time. Cask health, ABV, RLA, wood influence and storage conditions should be monitored. New make spirit must meet the legal maturation requirements before it can be described as Scotch whisky.

Storage, insurance, transfers, sampling, regauging, sale, transport, duty, VAT, bottling, packaging and delivery costs may apply. Review the full fee schedule and terms before purchase.

Distillery naming and bottling rights may be restricted even where the liquid originated at a named distillery. These rights should never be assumed.

Past prices, market data, case studies and third-party opinions are not a guide to future value. Any examples must be representative, evidenced and presented with all material fees, time periods and limitations.
